SmartTrack is a satellite communicator conceived for small charter applications because it does not require installation. The satellite transmitter, GPS, antennas and batteries (duration of more than 3.000 messages or three years) are integrated into a single small watertight device. SmartTrack can easily be turned on and off by rotating a two-screws cover before you take it on board or you can leave it on board enabled and use its internal vibration and shift sensor to start the automatic transmission when the boat is actually used.
The device is managed using LiveTrack, an internet application through which it is easy to manage rental boats and associated customer data. The control in real time takes place by showing the track and data of each boat on the map with the interesting possibility of overlaying the weather forecast.
